Jayne is the Trailer.
Six years, twenty-seven countries and more than a hundred departures. Jayne designs the routes, rides them first, and leads them herself.
The long way round
Trailer Adventures didn't start with a business plan. It started with a lot of miles.
Jayne has spent about six years building and running bike trips: more than a hundred departures, across twenty-seven countries, in three regions. She started out guiding, which is still the part she likes best, and ended up designing the trips as well as leading them.
Most of it was learned on the ground, in New Zealand, across the United States, and through Croatia, Greece and Italy. A trip is made or broken by small things: whether the lunch stop is where it was promised, whether the hill is as long as the map suggests, whether the person leading it has actually been there.
Why her own name is on the door
Somewhere along the way she worked out the trip she wanted to be on. Smaller. Slower. More local. Led by the person who planned it. So she started one, and put her own name on it, which given the surname was too good to pass up.
Right now she is in New Zealand, riding the South Island roads that become our 2027 launch. Every route on this site is one she has ridden, or is riding, before anyone books it. That's the whole promise.
